Mathew Verghese
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Verghese joined Global Geophysical in March 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Global, Mr. Verghese was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers. While at Lehman, he served as an Investment Manager and COO of the Lehman Energy Fund, a principal investments group specialized in debt and private equity investments to the energy sector.

Prior to Lehman, Mr. Verghese was a partner and CFO of Andersen Business Consulting. He also served as head of its venture capital efforts in North America, its corporate development group and its alliances and partnerships organization. Mr. Verghese was a member of the Executive Committee of its Global Leadership team.

Mr. Verghese serves on the board for the Star of Hope and is past-chairman of the Board of Advisors of the College of Technology at the University of Houston. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston with a major in Finance.
