George E. Matelich

George Matelich joined Global Geophysical Services as a member of the Board of Directors in December 2006 and serves as a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Matelich currently serves as a Managing Director of Kelso & Company, L.P., a private equity firm (“Kelso”). He joined Kelso in January 1985, after serving in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance groups at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb from September 1982 to December 1984. From June 1978 to August 1980, Mr. Matelich was a consultant with Ernst & Whinney. He is a director of CVR Energy, Inc., Shelter Bay Energy Inc. and Waste Services, Inc., a trustee of the University of Puget Sound, and a member of the board of directors of the American Prairie Foundation.

Mr. Matelich received a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Puget Sound and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
