July 15, 2006 - BP awards Global contract to apply the first field trial of FireFly at their Wamsutter gas field in Wyoming

Global Geophysical Services has been awarded the contract to conduct the first field trial of the Input/Out FireFly™ wireless seismic recording platform for BP at their Wamsutter gas field in Wyoming. Global Crew 448 began shothole drilling in July.

A 2D parameter test has been completed, and the recording of the 3D survey
is scheduled to start in late October.

Global will use 10,000 three-component (30,000 channels) wireless recording stations to acquire seismic data in the BP-operated Wamsutter gas field.
