Global Geophysical is delighted to announce the arrival of Tom Fleure, Vice President of geophysical technology. Tom is a 21 year veteran in the industry coming from Western Geophysical, now WesternGeco. Tom started his vibrant career after graduating with high honors from Colorado School of Mines in 1982 with a degree in Geophysical Engineering. He has held many technical and managerial positions worldwide with Western including technical postings as Area Geophysicist - Eastern Hemisphere, Manager - Applied Technology Land and Special Projects, Project Manager - Survey Evaluation and Design, and Operational Manager of Acquisition Geophysics. Tom has also held senior operational management postings including Managing Director -Western Atlas Nigeria, Resident Manager - Saudi Arabia, and Operations Manager -Western Hemisphere Marine.
Richard Degner, President of Global Geophysical, fellow Mines alumni, and Western Geophysical coworker of 17 years comments on Tom’s arrival. “We are so delighted to have Tom. Tom’s specific areas of research and in-depth study have included development of advanced vibroseis techniques and custom design of explosives for application as seismic sources. He is the inventor and co-inventor on two patents in these research areas. |
